Don’t Know What Content to Make? Lets Fix That
Here's something i bet you don't want to hear:
Building a brand takes longer than you think. Waaay longer.
But here's what I know after doing this for myself and watching it work across multiple clients.
It compounds. It looks like nothing is happening for months, and then suddenly it starts to takes off.
The people who win are not necessarily the best or the brightest, its the hard mofo's who didn't give up.
That's what weekly content is about. Not going viral. Not posting every single day.
Just showing up consistently so that when your ideal client finds you, they can see you're active, you're a real human, and you've got something worth their time.
You know how when you land on someone's profile and they haven't posted in months?
You think, 'are they still operating? Do they even have a good product?' And then you move on.
How often do you actually need to post?
It doesn't need to be daily. For some brands: lawyers, builders, accountants once or twice a week is fine.
For others, 3 to 6 times a week is more optimal.
The minimum bar is this: look active, and give people something valuable when you do show up.
What makes good content?
The best content contains 2 of these three pillars. And the most banger content combines them all.
1. Educate Teach what you know. Share what you're learning. People follow you when you make them better at something they care about.
Tutorials, breakdowns, lessons from wins and failures, checklists, client transformations, this is authority content.
A good prompt to start: What do people always ask me about? Answer that on camera or in a post.
Straight to camera, no bullshit, like you're teaching a mate.
2. Entertain Show your personality. Be fun, bold, weird, honest. People connect when you let your guard down.
Day in the life content, memes in your own voice, honest fails, unpopular opinions, industry bullshit.
This is the stuff that makes people feel like they actually know you.
3. Inspire Show growth. Share the vision. Let people come along for the ride.
Before and afters, vulnerable reflections, wins with real lessons attached, stories about where you're headed. If you've got a good story that isn't the norm share that shit.
If you can educate someone in an entertaining way that inspires them to take action..... BANGER CONTENT.
One more thing... engage!
When your audience comments, reply. When someone DMs you, respond. Share their stuff too. People need to know there's a real human on the other end (especially now days).
Engagement builds the kind of community that you can leverage when you're ready to sell or ask something from them.
A brand is a reputation at scale. A reputation is not built overnight.
But you gotta trust me here, stick with it. Your Personal Brand will become one of the most valuable assets you'll ever own.
