Unusual Amigos - PharmaData

Pharmaceutical data technology… boring right? WRONG - I recently shot the guys (and girl) from PharmaData for a feature in Cannabiz and found out this team of tech guru’s are not what youd expect.

The write up - PharmaData, the creators of Canview (a patient prescription software for alternate therapeutics) have recently become a major shareholder of Entourage Effect (alternative medicine distributor) bringing their expertise in data and prescription software to Entourages wholesaler and distribution network.

Not boring - These guys are an odd mix of professionals and entrepreneurs that have come together as a power house team

Guy who is the CEO is also a heli pilot, outdoor enthusiast and a truffle and sheep farmer (we will get to that in a minute haha), all of which are not what you would expect from a tech CEO.

Jessica, a pom living in Aus brings here self made eye for design to their UX&UI and Adam their CTO handles all things technical - when he is not wine in hand being the ‘wine guy’ haha’.

Tucked away in the hills of Tenterfield is a new venture by the three amigos New England Truffle Co. Acre’s of pristine land covered in these tantalizing fungal delights, used in all things luxury foods. But you know what you need to do with all this land… keep the grass down. You know whats good for that… SHEEP! So the team also started New England Lamb as living lawn mowers (also might get some nice chops from them too).

I had a great time with the team and am so keen to get the the farm one day soon to shoot some ag for the new ventures.
