Run - Sunshine Coast Marathon

We awoke to rain hitting the roof of our air bnb… Damn, its gunna be a wet run.

Jamie (girlfriend), Dev (friend) and I were up before dawn to get ready for the Sunshine coast half marathon hoping for clear sky’s, birds singing and vibes pumping.

But all of us slightly moist dogs at the Alex Heads start line, could feel the cold and wet creeping into our bones.

As if the big fella up stairs said ‘haha only kidding’ and the first wave of half marathoners were released the heaves began to part, the sun shone through and the vibes were back!

Thousands and thousands of running enthusiasts horded along the coast line. Some better prepared than others 😂 .

At the finish line you could hear the announcer, ‘We have a gorgeous weekend here on the sunny coast.’ And all the crowd cheering on the runners, ‘your almost done Lilly! Come on Jeff don’t slow down now!’

Fresh morning, beautiful Aussie sun, pumping vibes, this was fun to shoot.
