Not Your Average Doctor - Dr Matt

So your a new eye surgeon and you want your practice pics to be a bit different… ‘hold my optical lopes (magnifying surgery glasses)’ I got you!
I had so much fun shooting with Dr. Matt, Tassies newest ophthalmologist.

I didn’t know what to expect when I rocked up to the surgery clinic to shoot with Matt, but I wasn’t ready for the larger than life character I met! Finishing his residency and heading home to Tassie to start practicing, Dr. Matt wanted some images for his practice that weren’t your typical, ‘Dr. in a lab coat, in waiting room background, cheesy smile.’ (even though we got one of them as well just for safety😂)

Although I woulda loved to go full send with our images and have his load personality come out mid surgery….. I don’ think the patient would of consented…. or if it would of been completely legal. So instead we decided to just bring the theater into the shots to help associate Matt to his craft.

With the family there to support, we had to get a photo with the new baby that will definitely be the most unique family photos ever!

I seriously had so much fun that morning and cant wait to shoot with another craftsman and bring their work into our portraits as well.
