Foundational Content = BULK Trust

Hey my Dudes,

Before you worry about posting every day, you need a foundation.

Most people skip this and go straight to churning out useless weekly content.

Someone finds you, gets a little curious, goes looking for more and there's nothing there.

Foundational content fixes that.

This is the evergreen content that's always relevant and can stay in place for as long as your brand is on its mission (see told you we needed this).

It does shit tonnes of trust building for you straight out of the gate before you've even spoken to someone.

Here's what your foundation should include:

Your Story Your industry, your offer, your visual style, plenty of people can copy those.

You know what nobody else has? Your story.

Your audience wants to know who you are, where you came from, the shit you've been through.

They'll see themselves in your journey, relate to your struggles and wins, and build a strong connection with you because of it.

An about page, a pinned post, a blog (or all of them) just get your story out there.

Your Approach The way you do things is probably different to everyone else in your space and your audience needs to know that.

Most people never explain their process or methodology because they're scared of copy cats, so the fact that you do instantly sets you apart.

Go into why you do things your way, how you landed on it, and your step-by-step approach. This is incredible authority content and it builds MASSIVE trust.

Your FAQs You know those dumb ass questions you get asked over and over again? Answer them.

Film a video, write a post, put it on your website. It makes great content and means you spend less time answering the same thing in your DMs. Just send people the link.

Something I think is vital is get some of this foundational content on video. Photos can be polished and curated. Video shows people how you actually move, talk, and think.

Hell your probably here because you saw me sending it on a reel and said, 'this lunatic looks fun and worth investigating'. šŸ˜‚

Some creators hide a lot behind a perfect picture. A video is where people really get a feel for who you are. And that can be what gets them over the line.

None of this needs to be perfect. iPhone is fine. Authentic is what we're chasing.

Once you've got your foundational content built put that shit everywhere. Put it on your website, pin it to your social profiles, link to it on everything.

Every new person that finds you should be able to immediately go deep on you if they want to.

A brand with depth converts. A brand that's just a feed of surface level crap doesn't.
