‘That’s So Outkast’

That's so 'Outkast'. Is your brand strong enough that you can use it as an adjective?

When head of brand at Outkast Group Elisabeth Eid said this at one of our shoots it really stuck with me.

She said this at another of our shoots, when talking about an image that was moody, professional and fun.

This shoot fooling around with their exec team was fun, lively and professional which brought out the personalities behind the brand.

When building the visuals for your brand you need to know your values and brand words.

Your values are how your brand feels when you work with you.

Your brand words are how your brand looks.

For example here are mine.

Values: Useful, different, fun

Visuals: Bold, raw, minimal

Like Liz, i can look at my work and say, 'that's so Luke Sartor'. (as weird as that feels to type right now 😅)

Most brands don't even think about this before developing product or media.

What are yours?
And if you need a hand, i help you do this when we implement my Personal Brand Playbook.
